Draw-It!

Weeks 5-9 of Arch1142 was spent in 2 dimensional media. Through assignments and in class tasks students investigate different methods conveying messages, designs and ideas by use of different drawing media, techniques and styles.

Rose Seidler House

Just one of the buildings available for this workshop, Harry Seidler's Rose Seidler House was prescribed to me. The first three weeks of the workshop were spent in developing design drawings like those below.

The workshop then guides the student through 3 dimensional drawing, specifically in two point perspective (below) and plan oblique drawings posted (above).

In the final week of the workshop all of this work is compiled in a poster (posted on the blogs home screen). In the poster a background comprised of 3 different images has been added to the perspective drawing.
